February 2007

As this is the first Newsletter of 2007 may I wish all our members a very happy and prosperous New Year. Where do all the years go?

This will be just a quick Newsletter to advise the dates of this year's Lectures, and the new venue for the lectures.

There will again be a series of four weekly lectures based on the Police system of Car Control, but this year they will be held at Holy Trinity Sout Hall (venue now changed to Holy Trinity Church Hall, Ed), Lysander Road, Yeovil, commencing on Wednesday 7th March 2007, at 7:30pm.

I understand that the lectures will be shared between Mike Davies and Sandra Pennyfather, so come along and bring a friend to support them and the group. Personally I am going to miss them this year, as I am in the middle of a year at night school. Education is a wonderful thing isn't it. Shame for me as it's a bit late.

As usual there will in addition be a demonstration drive on Sunday April 1st. The cost of the lectures and in-car tuition if required is £10.

For more information contact Stan Morris, Membership Secretary & Group Treasurer.

At last years AGM a new Chairman was elected together with several new committee members. Exciting things are being planned, which I will go into in the next newsletter, together with a message from our new chairman.

The message from our chairman was e-mailed to me, but regretfully I think it's still orbiting the earth somewhere high above Alaska.

Regards,

Ian Holloway (Group Newsletter Editor)
